Last Wednesday was a day I will never forget. I had the honour of delivering training for the incredible team at ANDYSMANCLUB, and it has taken me several days to process just how deeply it has affected me.
For very personal reasons, this day held huge meaning for me and my family. Spending time with this remarkable group of men and women left me feeling moved and inspired by their passion, wisdom, and dedication to saving lives. Their mission is simple yet profound: to reach that one man who feels his life is no longer worth living and show him that it is.
Throughout the day, I witnessed the true power of connection. The kindness of a smile and compassionate eyes can make a difference at exactly the time it is needed. Meeting everyone involved reminded me of the importance of simply being there for others, something ANDYSMANCLUB does week in and week out.
As clubs across the country prepare to open their doors this week, I want to publicly express my sincere gratitude to each volunteer and member. There is so much hard work that goes into this phenomenal movement, led by the inspiring Luke Ambler. Each person I met has motivated me to become the very best version of myself for others.
They give something to the world that is special and beautiful. We should all be grateful for these light workers who walk among us, I know I am.
