Celebrating our 2026 Conference

Multi Agency Mental Health in Schools Conference 2027 Announced

We are delighted to announce that the Multi Agency Mental Health in Schools Conference 2027 will take place on Thursday 22nd April 2027 at Denroyd Farm, Upper Denby, Huddersfield.

Previously known as the Senior Mental Health Lead Conference, this annual event has become a valued opportunity for professionals from education, health, local authorities, charities and the wider community to come together and share learning, ideas and practical approaches to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people.

A New Theme for 2027

Over the past four conferences, we have explored what it means to develop a whole school approach to mental health, hearing from inspiring speakers and organisations committed to improving awareness, reducing stigma and strengthening suicide prevention.

For 2027, our focus turns to a single, powerful theme:

Hope

As progress continues across the sector, there is much to celebrate. The introduction of BS 30480, the UK’s first national workplace suicide prevention standard, has encouraged important conversations about supporting mental health at work. MHFA England® continues to train Mental Health First Aiders for children and young people, while Andy’s Man Club has grown to more than 350 groups meeting every Monday evening across the UK, providing vital support and hope to thousands of people.

Despite these positive developments, too many people still reach a point where they feel unable to continue, and far too many children and young people are still being lost to suicide. There remains significant work to do.

This year’s conference asks an important question:

How can we bring hope to people when they need it most?

Together we will explore how schools, organisations and communities can build on existing whole school approaches to create cultures where people feel connected, supported, safe and hopeful.
